Thomas is the CEO at deltaflare with two decades' experience within the energy and utility sector. Thomas founded and ran a successful engineering and technology consultancy, which was acquired in 2019 by a global, US-based engineering firm. Thomas is a technologist and has a strong technical background in OT and cybersecurity for Critical National Infrastructure. He is the single-acting Competent Design Authority for the UK gas industry in the area of OT safety & control software and cybersecurity. With the current demand for OT experience in cybersecurity and IIoT infrastructure, Thomas is fronting the deltaflare effort in delivering accessible technology to the sector.

Co-Founder & COO

Mo is the COO at deltaflare and has a wealth of international experience in the energy and utility sector as an OT cybersecurity subject matter expert. Mo is a business leader with a proven track record in building and guiding a security consultancy firm through to acquisition. Mo has a strong government connection with organisations such as NCSC. He is a recognised expert in cybersecurity for industrial systems and regularly provides advice and support to governmental bodies and asset owners/operators. Mo provides a strong link between clients business drivers and deltaflare's operational compliance to deliver state of the art technology into the sector.

Head of Development

Dr. Choukri Mecheraoui is the Head of Software Development at deltaflare with over 15 years of experience in highly regulated industries. He previously led the development of innovative medical devices, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and meeting state-of-the-art requirements. An expert in software development, Choukri specialises in creating secure technology for critical systems. With the growing need for cybersecurity in product development, Choukri is leading deltaflare’s adoption of DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is seamlessly integrated throughout the development lifecycle to deliver robust, and cutting-edge solutions.

Head of Assurance

Richard Gregory is the Head of Assurance at deltaflare, with more than a decade of experience in operational technology across oil and gas, power, and utilities. He has led support and services teams for a major industrial automation OEM, delivering and supporting process control, safety systems, and digital transformation in sectors where precision and resilience are non-negotiable. A significant part of Richard's career has been focused on helping customers strengthen their OT environments against evolving cybersecurity requirements, navigating both the technical and commercial complexities of OT hardening. As Head of Assurance at deltaflare, Richard brings that depth of expertise to supporting customers throughout their Phoenix journey, contributing to the delivery of secure, scalable, and future focused OT solutions.

Head of Technology

Kaelan Fouwels is the Head of Technology at deltaflare, bringing deep experience from the UK defence and Critical National Infrastructure space. Most recently at AWS Security, he has spent his career building technology that has to work at scale, under pressure, and in environments where failure is not an option. An expert in translating complex security challenges into practical, robust solutions, Kaelan sets the technical direction for Phoenix, overseeing product strategy, architecture, and team leadership with a clear focus on resilience, scalability, and long-term sustainability. As Phoenix continues to mature and scale, Kaelan's balance of strategic thinking and hands-on engineering ensures the platform evolves in line with the real operational needs of essential service operators.
